A Holiday at an English Traditional Inn

A Holiday at an English Traditional InnWhen booking a holiday in the country and you look for a quiet and traditional place, turn your eyes to the charming and traditional inns. Dating for hundreds of years, inns are cozy places to where you can seek for lodging, food and drink.

It is believed they were established by the Romans about two millennia ago, but they are now modernly restored and offer a high comfort for the traveler. They used to be the heart of the community gatherings, but with spacious common spaces, they still offer the tourists a place to meet for a drink and a story.

Not only an inn might look like a village itself, but to rediscover the good old English tradition, this is the place to be. The guest spaces are separated. In what is generally the main building, you can have a quiet sleep on a comfy mattress with some nice cotton sheets and get the home feeling with a wool blanket. During the day, private gatherings have their space. These places are the heart of an inn. They make the link between past and present and make room for new legends. After all, most of the anecdotes and stories we all grew up with come from travelers who, hundreds of years ago, had a good meal and a rest at an inn.
